Our Best Book - Year 5

Every year Leicester Libraries Neighbourhood Services, Whatever it Takes and Creative Learning Services will be joining forces to bring you this much-loved city initiative.
Our Best Book aims to...
 Inspire and motivate children in Year 5 to be active readers
 Develop and support reading for pleasure
 Develop awareness of new titles/authors
 Provide schools with multiple copies of great, accessible books

SJS have received:
 1 copy of each of the 15 long listed books
 15 copies of the 5 short listed books (making a total of 90 new exciting books to stimulate reading)
 Promotional posters/bookmarks
This will also include:
 Book Talking sessions (via video) to promote the award/books/reading by Neighbourhood Services: Leicester libraries and Creative Learning Services.
 School participation at the online Award Event in June – to see presentation of awards.
